I am one of the luckiest knitters in the world. My sister-in-law has decided to de-stash. She had caught the knitting bug bad. Since she traveled extensively, she picked up a lot of yarn along the way.
With her time and attention on her clothing line, Whitley Kross, she has little time for knitting. As stashes tend to do, hers had gotten out of control and needed to regain the space.
I am more than happy to help out. Ecstatic even. Little did I realize how much she was getting rid of. I’ve now nearly doubled my stash size. (Not including the 20 pounds or so of spinning fiber of course.)
It’s going to take some time to photograph and catalog on Ravelry everything she’s given me.
But here’s the over view:
Some of the highlights in the stash are several balls of Missoni yarn, many skeins from France like the Weicomme La Serpentine and amazing variegated hand-spun from the Black Forest. I’m going to arrange my favorites in a nice big bowl in my living room, but that will be another post.
