Here is part two of the the paduak turned bowl. After the original foot broke, here is the rescue foot. I turned some scrap plywood and glued it to the bottom of the bowl. This one was a real challenge. After breaking the original foot while hollowing it out, I wasn’t sure this was going to make the cut. Like a formulaic episode of Love Boat, we where in love, had a falling out and then fell in love all over again. I almost don’t want to part with it…. “Um, sorry Shaku, yeah, it.. um it broke… yeah that’s it!” I hope he loves it as much as I do.
